I'm definitely going to take lots of photos. My problem is identifying 20 or so of the 4000 which I will then post online. >_>

Thanks! It's weird how I worry about my internet and not about earthquakes, hurricanes and radiation. Hope this doesn't turn into famous last words...

Have a safe flight and tons of fun in Japan! Maybe you could try to catch some sleep on the plane, too, if possible :') looking forward to hearing about your trip ♥

Thank you! Unfortunately I'm totally unable to sleep sitting up. (But last time I looked, the seat next to me was still free, so maybe...)

Is it your first time going? Are you flying into Narita? Staying in Tokyo?

If so, you must try the Shabu Shabu retaurant above the Shibuya Mandarake for lunch.

btw, useful links for the gaijin in J-land:

Third time actually, and yes, Narita. I'm heading south for the first week and a half, but will then be in Tokyo for 10 days. Thanks for the rec... I suspect I may find myself in that general *cough* vicinity anyway, so I'll make sure to try it out.

Thanks also for the other links - I had the train one but the restaurant one will come in very handy!

;3 I thought you might, which is why I thought to rec it. Tabehoudai at lunch is cheap and fantastic, and it's a bit of a tradition to go eat it whenever I happen to be in Tokyo.
