"What?" Well, this was a problem... and irritating. Damage shifted and waved his hand at it again, trying to shoo it away as he would a bothersome insect. "Go away. I told you I don't know the way."
He didn't think it would work, but it was worth a try. At least it looked like the humans had left so they wouldn't notice any commotion.
"You also told me that I should go play nice with the humans and we both know that that's a damn dirty lie!" Wimzle protested, now getting properly upset. It skimmed through the air and avoided Damage's hand as he tried to brush it away. "There's no way I'm gonna let you make me look like a traitor! I don't wanna be be erased!"
Really, Damage considered, there was only one thing left to do now.
"Blast it all! Fine, I'll tell you where the door is." He reached an arm out, pointing in a westerly direction. "Head that way for about 4 miles. When you come to a river follow it north for about 1 mile. There will be a tall building with a roof shaped like this." Damage bent down to the ground and, easily breaking through the crumbling asphalt, drew a vaguely onion shape reminiscent of Earth's Russian architecture. "The door you want is inside that building."
He tried to keep an honestly exasperated expression on his face. One that seemed more 'fine-you've-convinced-me-to-tell-you-the-truth' rather than the 'I'm-lying-through-my-teeth-to-get-rid-of-you' it really was. Damage hadn't really been anywhere yet, other than the base, so he had no idea if there even was a river, or such a building to find, but if it would get the creature to leave him be for 5 minutes he was sure he could transform and get away from it.
Wimzle crossed its arms and gave a good, solid glare as it considered the large nightmaren's instructions. It did not think that Damage seemed particularly frustrated yet, since he hadn't even lashed out, definitely not fed up enough to concede an argument... But why would it suddenly start being nice an helpful? That didn't follow...
"... I think you're lying." Damage definitely looked strong, and while appearances could be extremely deceptive, he wasn't worried by the presence three lucid dreamers one bit. Wimzle knew that it was probably going to get pounded now, but it was determined not to give up annoying the huge nightmare.
