She was not capable of simply thinking about nothing, and dwelling on frustration was equally useless. As her mind ran back over her interrupted task, she considered the tasks that still needed completing. Finding one of the speakers she'd removed from the component journals and hooking that up. And while she had him open, she might as well play with the idea she'd had of trying to find a way to power him off of Materia so he would not have to worry about running out of battery power.
Her feet swung ideally, childishly, a carefree gesture of peace as a calm smile spread back across her features.
Then she heard a sound, not yet familiar, but happy none-the-less. Bipedal step pattern, far heavier than a human. Her smile brightened as she looked up to see where he was.
Damage had spent the last hour or so, scavenging through the old houses. He wasn't consciously looking for anything specific, just letting his body move while his processor drifted between thoughts. Pulling the roof off of a few damaged buildings really was therapeutic. He idly poked through the exposed rooms, pushing aside debris with his hands and ignoring the small fleeing gima-creatures. There really was a lot to think about and plan for, but Damage was taking a chance to enjoy the brief moment of methodical destruction. BlackBerry had settled down to rest again in it's little compartment, staying out of the larger mech's way

"Hi Damage," Sierra smiled and waved, still a little subdued, but happy to see him again.
He was carrying something, but from where she sat, she couldn't quite see. "You didn't find another one, did you?" she asked with a touch of chagrin. If he had brought another person, she might just consider moving out to the hanger as is. "I'm sorry I left so suddenly before, I was worried about Tina. Thank you for being willing to help us scavenge supplies for expanding. I know you don't stand much to gain from helping us, but we appreciate it a lot." She swung her legs absently, ankles crossed and hands gripping the edge of the roof as she leaned forward with a grin.
Damage was so focused on trying not to think, that the humans voice came as a startling surprise. This time he did crush it, the large hand clenching involuntarily. He stared down at the pieces, letting them fall through his fingers as he answered her distractedly. "No, it's nothing. I..." as the final shattered piece of wood dropped from his hand it was like a spell being broken. He shook it off and looked up to focus on the fem.
"Do not concern yourself. It is no difficulty for me to assist you humans in this effort. Though I do find it frustrating to be given a vague assignment with no clear directions." His earlier irritation was seeping back into his words. "How am I supposed to know which structures you organics are using and which ones you want demolished. What about this one? Or perhaps that one?" He gestured to a few structures several yards away to the right. "Or maybe I should start with this one." he finished grumpily, pointing to the building beneath the sitting human.
Sierra's smile dropped again when Damage broke whatever wooden think he'd been caring. With a sigh, she reflected on how she should have just kept her mouth shut
