A little psychic voice popped up suddenly to those who were receptive to it, to the others it just felt like a sudden burst of surprise and confusion. What's happening? What is that?!

Robin giggled happily at the returned kiss and gave Apollo a squeeze before releasing him. "It is said that there are those among thy number with the power of healing, Master Apollo," Robin said with a friendly smile. "I am able to mend Master Ani's injuries, but it would take the space of a few days, which I know is very long for a human."

At the Millinery Officer's arrival Robin tilted his head and sported an amused grin. "Thou art quite the thespian, Mister Miggx!" he noted approvingly. He looked up curiously when Ghost arrived, noting the blood on his face but not commenting.

Ani chuckled at Zee's comment, in spite of how that action jarred his ribs, all the strangeness and lack of answers forgivable in light of that familiar face and sense of wry humor. He closed the small distance between them and extended his hand to Apollo. "Meeting again, for the first time, indeed," he grinned warmly. "It is good to see you."

Anything further was cut short by Ghost's emergence from a house further on, and then the Hatter's theatrical appearance.

"Hello, Ghost," Ani returned the tall man's greeting. "I'm Captain Angelo Duncan. My sincerest thanks to all of you for hosting us. The Yellow Flicker should be joining us shortly," he added, mostly for Zee's benefit, since he was the one preparing food, "Along with Ni'ci."

"Officer Miggx, this is Apollo Stardust." He finished the introductions, hoping that would dispense of the formalities for a time. He took the risk of assuming that Ghost knew of Robin already from the databooks, if they had not met before already.

There was quite the crowd in the middle of the park now and the mental noise was jarring after the peace. Especially when The Hatter appeared to radiate madness all over the place. Zee couldn't shut off his sensing ability. The best he could do was dim it and distance himself emotionally from the incoming sensations. His presence was likely to induce a headache in the long run but it didn't matter much. Insanity felt right at home here ( ... )

Once Miggx had made note of everyone present, he turned his attention briefly to the tall, pale man with blood streaking down one cheek. He wondered momentarily if the gentleman had a medical condition, but dismissed it as the other fellow, Zee, seemed genuinely surprised.

"I hope your compatriot is well. I'm not entirely certain he should even be standing. He's quite pale, you know..."
