Hex only barely avoided working up some alchemy in lieu of the flying woman that had just missed him and gone for Hardy, instead. Shocked and already nearly out of his wits, he actually just stood by and watched for a moment before he reigned in control of his mouth, to try and fend off the woman who was making Hardy very red indeed.

"Uh. Hi?" he offered. "Could you, uh, get off of my friend? I think you're scaring him."

They were on a mission with time of the absolute essence, and couldn't afford distractions. Hardy knew this and was banking on their only hold ups possibly being gima attacks, not incredibly busty women tackling him to the ground and kissing him without due cause or invitation. The globe was pretty and quite obviously dangerous. His threat impressed her, given his situation. The boy was not comfortable with her proximity and was embarrassed by it but managed to retain his senses. Mara applauded his attitude and spunk and began to laugh ( ... )

Taking that as the threat it was, Hex swept his own tail behind himself, hiding the blades and giving a clear indication of his own unwillingness to participate. Of course, her open-ended statement begged a question, but knowing her as the demoness who'd had Ana before, Hex was hesitant to ask.

Though... she wouldn't be able to tie him to anything if he just waved off whatever bargain she wanted, if she wanted something in exchange for whatever information she had.

"My sister," he started. "The girl you... had. Before. Do you know where she is? I'm- that is, we're... looking for her."
