Character(s): Toy, Ahime, Katsu, Silence, Kelly, Nei'ess, and Robin Content: A significant discovery Setting: Inside the Hospital Warnings: None so far
"Okay okay! Calm down, don't need to pull so rough. I'm still a little sore..." Ahime complained, pulling her hand back and rubbing at her shoulder with a wince once they were upstairs. She'd never been one to look at a persistent attitude as a bad thing, but Toy had a way of wearing nerves even when not being rude
( ... )
Katsu, meanwhile, seemed thoroughly distracted by the little yellow flicker playing in his hair. He raised a hand to move her away, managing even though it felt slightly strange to do so. Not to mention that the writing that had appeared before him was quite the sight, like a rainbow in letters.
"...What is that?" he asked lowly, watching the sprite float idly there as the letters faded. "It's like a ghost."
A ghost? Not quite. It's... a living piece of my magic, really. I call them "color sprites." The yellow one there is named Goldenrod. I'm sorry if it bothered you. They tend to be attracted to colors similar to the ones that make them up and you have blond hair. Nei'ess sat up slowly, glad to see his head wasn't spinning anymore at least. He was tired, but not too bad yet. The other color sprites fluttered around, disturbed from their positions by the movement.
Nei'ess brushed his own bangs away from his eyes and smiled shyly, glad to see that Katsu was looking less glassy. He extended a hand in greeting. I'm Nei'ess and you're Katsu, I've heard. And you're already met Robin, right? He gestured at the fairy with the flute sitting nearby.
Robin nodded, both in greeting and agreement as Nei'ess gestured towards him. He didn't move his flute away from his lips to offer any verbal greeting, however, and continued to play.
Toy shuffled what she had in front of her. "I'm thinking, that we should avoid announcing this on the system until we can go through what's here more thoroughly. Though what you say appears to be true, I wouldn't want to announce something without all the facts we can find..." Toy just piled most of the seemingly important cases into a stack to come back to later. She wanted to find the first few recordings of this bizarre trend and see when it started. It'd probably take a while though.
"When Katsu and Kelly are feeling better, we can get them to help us, and Robin and the other guy if they wanna help." She wasn't sure if Silence could be any help. If anything, his claws may end up damaging more than helping.
