Mm. I'm not surprised that they weren't there. It's likely that Phoenix was the one who took them, although it's also possible that someone else who can read Precurian took it. Either way, I'll find them and kill them.

As for Phoenix, I want him alive...but we aren't going to do this immediately, Harley. I want to take my time with this. I want to take my time with him.

We will plan, we will work towards a goal, and we will make him suffer.

The Precursor cities weren't built in a day, after all. [Maia's way of saying that the more they wait and the more they mess with him along the way, the more satisfying it'll be when Maia actually gets her hands on Phoenix.]

She might have been the Joker's flunky and done things cause he said so, but Maia was an actual friend; as warped as their friendship was. [Not so much an inconvenience as it is further reason for her to add Torn to her hit list - once she figures out he's the one who took her notes, anyway.

It'd have to be someone who could actually read Precurian, and she highly doubts that Jinx, Daxter or Jak would be intelligent enough to actually comprehend what she's going on about. So, that kind of narrows down the list to Phoenix, Ashelin, Damas, or Torn.

...and from there, she'll just have to narrow things down even further, Process of elimination and all that.]
