That is a personal matter. [In other words, being an absolute creeper and reading and listening to everything she can. Makes learning about Phoenix - and also learning about who and what she can use against him - so much easier.]

Again, all in due time. And I think I'd prefer to give Phoenix his communicator myself, rather than have someone else deliver it to him. I've been meaning to have a small chat with him, anyway.

Come to my room. Bring gauze and something sharp. [Maia doesn't bother adding "if you can" at the end...mainly because it doesn't matter. If Anna's going to take up Maia's time, then she had better bring what Maia asks of her.]

[The request kind of freaks Anna out a little, but a few stops later she has the requested items and is tapping on Maia's door.]

[Maia opens the door, knowing very well that it's Anna who's waiting for her on the other side. She steps aside so the other woman can step inside.]

...And be sure to close the door behind you.

[She steps in, then firmly shuts the door behind her. She holds out a small bag. Maia will find what she asked for inside.]

[Wordlessly, Maia takes the bag from Anna and opens it up - gauze and a small knife.]

Good. [She takes out the gauze and the knife and sets them both down on her bed...Phoenix's communicator is lying there, too.]

You can have that back once I'm done speaking with you. I've been meaning to see you, anyway, Anna. This seems to be as good a time as any... [She smiles.]
