Freezer Spells

May 28, 2008 13:56

Hi

I am new to the community and have been a solitary wiccan for nearly 20 years.  I was just interested on people's feed back on 'Freezer Spells.'  I use them to cool situations or literally try to stop problems in their tracks and had wondered if anyone had done the same?  Has it been successful?

Thank you :-)

I used one once to help stop this situation i was having with some people. Worked immediately. However, it was taken out too soon by my roommate and the spell unfolded. Chancey buggers

I do this with issues that I can't deal with right then and there. It gives me a little more time to assess the situation before it gets out of hand.

I've only used them on close friends/family purplevenus May 28 2008, 15:34:52 UTC
Basically to get a moment to discuss the issue. I've never used them on a problem, like say "I think I'll get a bad grade on my final. I'll freeze it."
But they have worked wonders when I've been so embroiled with an issue with someone that we only fought when we tried to talk it out.
Best of luck.

I've never heard of a "freezer spell," although I think I *sort of* get the idea from the previous comments... Could anyone give me a bit more of an explanation?

Well, mine tend to be about friction between people, when a problem does not have to be there (well only from MY point of view).

If I need to do this, its usually done as full moon approaches. I write "Please freeze these hostilities - and try to work out things between (insert name etc) amicably" or something like that, with the added quote "for the good and love of all - so mote it me/blessed be."

I write it out then write back over it another two times, then draw a pentacle over it and again draw over it two times (the threefold law). I usually add a snippet of my hair, or nail and some of Basil my cat. Place inside request, fold over three times. Add mint or bay then immerse in a carton of water. I then place it in a freezer as a sort of spell lolly pop.

I have done a sort of binding freezer spell where I wrote the names of people that I felt were speaking ill of me or had intentions other than good toward me. I wrote their name on one side of a piece of paper and mine on the other side. Then wrapped it in a black ribbon and placed it in the freezer until the next full moon.
Looking back on it, I think it worked very well. My relationships with these people headed into a better direction, we are able to look at things objectively and speak to each other without getting offended or hostile.
I think it helped them and myself as well. I would definitely do it again, if need be. But, hopefully, I won't need to.
Blessed be. :)
