I just finished watching Saiunkoku Monogatari #39. Waaaaah... the scene between Shuurei and Ryuuki is so incredibly cute! On the one hand I just can't understand that she can't see that he is the man for her, on the other hand, however, I'm glad that she doesn't give in that easily. It's the feminist in me that says: You go, girl! Giving up

I can definitely relate; the same division between friends groups, and the total lack of any current compelling anime or manga in my life (and generally less involvement in it to begin with).

Though I definitely work an elaborate filter system, for those rare times I post about manga. XD Everyone has to put up with reading about my personal life.

Haha, it's nice to see that I'm not the only one with a not-so homogenic f-list. A few years ago I tried to create friends groups but that never really worked out, so I've pretty much given up on that.

I like reading about the personal life of other people XD. I'm just afraid that my own RL is so boring that no one wants to know about it.

episode 39 was love!
even though we don't get a kiss before the closing of the second season i thought it was beautifully executed.
I adore Ryuuki/Shuurei relationship cuz the chase is still on and they're perfect for each other ^^
Ryuuki won't love any other woman but shuurei and i think if he were forced to marry another woman just to produce an heir he'd be miserable ...wonder what shuurei would do than :)

Yes, I loved episode 39! Particularly the part when Ryuuki hugged her and told her that he loved her. Soooo cute ♥ (yes, I'm a sucker for that kind of scene, particularly if I actually like the male love interest. Which is rare. But Ryuuki is so... cuddly ^^).

Hm... yes. In a different novel/manga, the forced marriage thing would be a valid plot device. I just don't think that Yukino Sai will do that in the novels (or does she? You know more about the novels than me ^^;;). But Ryuuki being forced by his advisors to marry a girl from a powerful family and Shuurei being forced to marry Kouyuu (that idea IS in the novels, right?)... that would become really, REALLY interesting! ^^ <-- somewhat sadistic

yeah there's pressure on Kouyu to marry shuurei (being that he perceive it's something Reishin would approve and Kurou has already made it clear to him that those were his plan for the Kou clan).

As for Ryuuki there's pressure from court to get a wife so he figure a way to put them off by taking Shunsui as his personal chamber maid of sorts ::TEEHEE::
except of course there's a mutual agreement between the two that it's something just to keep up appearances . Shunsui herself has been pursued by rich nobel men at court but turn them down and to keep away future suitors she accepted ryuuki's informal proposal.
Shunsui is in love with Shouka though I doubt shouka will return her feelings that way . I've read also that Ran Shuuei has a crush on Shunsui lol

I thought that Ryuuki would do something like this. He is, after all, not stupid. Isn't Shunsui a little old for Ran Shuuei (if she was one of the original assassins of Shouka, she must be at least in her thirties)? But I can see him building a harem of boys and girls XD

I also like Fai and Sakura, they're cute together. Saiunkoku is a very interesting series and I feel in love with the series.

I like Fai with Kuro and with Sakura. It's just the recent quarrels between the Sakura-haters and the pro-Sakura factions that annoyed me. I hope they feel very stupid after the recent revelations regarding her reasons for being so cold to everyone XD

I know I get really annoyed with all this Sakura bashing. No one is perfect. and Sakura is one of my upmost favorite female character. Basically I like Sakura with anyone. hehe. Kamui and Sakura would look cute or her with Subaru. Kuro is like a Big brother to her and Fai is soo cute when they are together. I have a Fai and Sakura fanlist the link it on my profile, if you want to join.

Goes off to update my fanlists. what annoyed me more is that when I have to update members information they don't give me vaild info. It makes me starting to hate updating fanlist, cause these people make me waste my time.

Many of my friends who own fanlistings constantly have problems with them. Funny thing is that I made buttons for a friend's fanlist but never joined one. Maybe I should do that. Possibly when I change the layout of my HP. If I do I'll definitely join yours!
