Where have all the Zorros gone...? *whistle*

Why can't I find a torrent for The Legend Of Zorro in English?! There are two or three German versions floating around and I found one in Spanish but I wanted it in English Grrr ~_~. And, yes, I do want to go and actually PAY for it next week with a friend. But there is no damn cinema in Munich showing it in English with subs at a time that's ( Read more... )

This one's beautiful! (As they always are.) Lovely colours.

Good luck finding a torrent for Zorro. I always prefer to watch things in their original language, too, and you're especially lucky because you're fluent in English!

Thank you! ^_^

I couldn't find any yet but I'll keep searching. This really irks me ~_~. Well, at least the DVD will have the English language track. I guess I can consider myself fluent but not as fluent as I'd like to be. Good thing that most action movies use rather, um, simple English XD

Glad you like it. You had to wait long enough, after all ^^;;

I vote German. :D

I also vote me wanting to have ANY amount of spare time to skin. -__- I've got a request to do, and that version of Hoshi's character, and Hoshi himself, and and AND. But I'd like to pass chemistry. Sigh. What's the series on this one?

OK, so it's going to be German. Well, or at least Austrian (since I just discovered that most of my German music is in fact from Austria. But it's the language that counts, ne? ^^;;).

Wheee, Hoshi! I hope you find the time somehow. I should be doing something else, too since I still suck at Spanish but I'm so fed up with that language at the moment and need a break.

The series is Maria-sama ga miteru. There's a Wiki-entry about it where I got most of my information. Not my kind of series but I can sort of see the appeal. Just not enough bishies. None, actually.

They should SO make a spinoff series about the Hanadera Boys' Academy that's right next to the Lillian Girls' Academy in MariMite...I bet that will have PLENTY of bishies. XD doinkies would definitely watch it...

Yeah, I guess I'd watch it too ^^;; But only if there's at least a little het (now, that'd be great! A yuri/BL/het mixed series! But I don't see it happen. People still tend to think too much in narrow categories. Does that make sense? -_-;).

Oooh, marimite! It's nice and bright. I like it.

Oh, BTW, I need your help in the latest post. My so-called friend seems intent on pinning the whole purpose of the post on this:

Eh. Maybe I should make my mom read my sister's Multiply journal then, so she can see for herself? ^_^ Sorry, sometimes it just gets on my nerves to be called "immature" and "isip bata" just because I spend my time reading instead of kikay-fying myself like my younger sister.

Which I think is the real dilemma hear, rather than the whole judgment from syntax thing. You want to whine and justify your existence at the narrow views your parents have of you.Apparently the fact that I *loathe* l33tspeak (always have) has no bearing in the matter at all. I was trying to point out my discussion with you and etoilepb on the worsening quality of education overall (even if it kills me to admit it, my sister is definitely a victim of this trend) and the fact that teachers aren't doing as much as they could to stem the tide, but he wouldn't listen. Then again, this guy ( ... )

Thanks ^^

Well... I wouldn't want to barge in and begin an argument with your friend but a tip: Just ask him to give you ONE single blog in l337-kiddie-speak in which the author discusses interesting facts about science or philosophy (preferably science) in a mature way. I doubt he can direct you to one XD.

I still loathe l337 and the like and if I or my 'real' LJ-friends use it, it's just to mock (hover the mouse pointer over the skin and you'll know what I mean) and it has a reason. If he happens to know someone who maintains a mature, interesting journal in netspeak, do let me know immediately. I think it's like seing a puppy with two heads - interesting from an intellectual viewpoint and yet horrible to look at ^^;;

You're very welcome to barge in should you decide to do so, but all I was asking for was an opinion on his arguments really. I asked for macgirl_13's opinion on the matter because I know she's had some run-ins with l33t speak users already and she's had ber fair share of parents trying to box her is as well. The thread's here in case you'd liek to contribute anything. I love the way jill manages to find all of the faulty logic in his arguments.

I really should have somebody submit this post to metaquotes... Maybe I should start looking for volunteers to do just that. Can't post it myself because it'd feel wrong somehow. ^_^

Hmmm. Seems like I unintentionally ended up using l33t myself in the earlier comment. Arg! This l33t argument is starting to get to my brain.
