[When she finally felt as though she could walk around without stumbling, or without her stomach trying to empty itself again, she had made her way to the clinic to get some water and something for her headache.]

[The will to walk all the way back to the apartments quickly leaves her, plopping down onto an empty bed with a quiet groan.]

[Naturally, it's a bit of a surprise when she turns her head and sees Snake only a few beds away.]

[laying on his bed, dispassionately staring up at the ceiling]

...Hey there.

[She rolls onto her stomach, half burying her face in the pillow.]

What're you doing here?

Recuperating.

[frank_hunter]

[Yeah, guess who's coming to see how you're doing. Fox doesn't look all that happy though; he's still frustrated about the recent happenings and how he was yet again unable to interfere.]

[He enters silently, taking a seat.]

Boss told me you're here.

[solid_courage]

[turns to look at him]

Yeah?

[frank_hunter]

[nods, looking down]

...Also told me to give you these.

[here, have a pack of aspirin and a pack of cigarrettes]

Need anything else?

[solid_courage]

[accepts them, briefly looking the aspirin over before setting it on the table. He pockets the cigarettes]

Will you leave if I say 'no'?

[Peeks his head inside]

Snake...?

[solid_courage]

[laying on his bed, raising a hand in acknowledgment] Hey.

[Smiles- more for Snake than himself- and walks over to him]

You don't mind a visitor, do you? Well, even if you said no..

I was looking for you. I left the room a few hours ago to look for more gauze, and when I came back you weren't in the room.

[Ha pauses, looking down at him for a moment. He then turns, pushing up his glasses, and pulls a chair over with his good hand, taking a seat.]

Still hurt..?

[solid_courage]

[sits up] Yeah...funny story, that.

I'll live. How's the arm?
