I apologize that this is late, but the water/trash billing system changed and I did not receive notice of the cost in order to calculate the entire total until today. I accept personal check, money order, or well-concealed cash (at your own risk), but not organs, drugs, sexual favors, or other black market items. I expect to receive payment as soon as possible, but as this is late notice, I will give you no later than two weeks from this date before I send people out to collect payment from you in person. You know the mailing address. Don't lick the envelope.
I know some of it seems silly, but in its entirety, this is not a joke.
