I'm with Kis on this. I've never used hard pencils back in the days when I drew with them. I couldn't ever get the depth of blackness I liked out of an 8B graphite stick, template and smudge tools. Very happy with my P-shop, palette and e-pen!

Oh, the 8H has its virtues~♥ haha, but yes, I've definitely reached the era where I'll look at something I drew and think, ".....I can fix that in photoshop."

♥~I've only used 8H to indent paper so that when softer graphite was rubbed over it very lightly, it left hair-fine white lines.

ooh, I'll have to try that sometime. I used 8H primarily for my rough draft layer, cuz it's faint and easy to disappear in photoshop and it doesn't smear or clog my pen tip when I ink over it. :d

X'DDDD glad to hear you don't think we're too crazy! we are always making fun of Hakkai, though, so I thought I'd apologize to him in my own way by letting him star in a volley of sketches, haha.

oh Ho! a challenge, I see. I've drawn 3 Hakkai pictures today, but I suppose I can go for 4. ♥ I'm not that good at making Hakkai's face look like Hakkai, lol, but drawing Tenpou has helped. what I mean is I don't know if I can handle such a subtle expression, but I'll give it a go. :P

...Okay, so, yeah, I know you're probably done with the Hakkai-drawing mood, and this is really not an idea that gets away from giving Hakkai a hard time then again neither is mpreg, but it won't leave me alone so I'ma throw it out there regardless especially in light of that one pic you did of the Ikkou as Team 7. >_<

I desperately want to see Hakkai in Gaara's clothes. Preferebly his Shippuden getup with the long coat and the straps all over. *_* Though Gaara's genin outfit would be awesome too. Conversely, I also have this itch to see Gaara in Hakkai's clothes, and/or some comic frame/strip about same-seiyuu role confusion and getting dropped in the wrong series for a day. >_< It's crap, I know I know, and god I'm sorry for bringing it up, but it's stuck in my brain and I wants it out before it tries to turn into a horrible crackfic.

Feel free to disregard this excuse for an idea and/or send it off to wherever art bunnies go when they die. ^_^;
