Personally, I feel like the things that are labled "kitschy" now just mean "I got it at Ikea! How weird is that?!"

Well I blame it on the hipsters of NYC ;)

Then again I blame a lot of things on hipsters; Starbucks, the high price of oil, silly business jargon. It's easy to blame them :D

I can't figure out how to vote, but I'm in the oldest of your age ranges, and yes I do know what it means, BUT I would not say "*of course* I do", because that would make me an ASSHOLE.

Argh! Some people know some things, and other people know other things, and nobody should belittle anyone else for any gaps in their knowledge. But perhaps I am mis-anticipating the explanation.

Dammit! I should add that I'm not criticizing Soleta_nf for using those words, or anyone for picking that option (since it's the only positive). I just get agitated about a certain attitude that certain people manifest in certain situations. Anyway! Right.
