I might actually meet the 500 episodes. I watch way too much tv.

I think I'm gonna have to snag the one movie meme.

Exactly. Unlike that 100 movies in one year challenge, I think the 500 TV shows thing will be easy. Especially since in any DVD-counting list I've done previously, I'd consider one season of TV to be "1" DVD, equivalent of a movie, even though they often have 24 episodes!

I split mine into two different ones. Movies I watch on DVD and Movies I watch on tv. I watch a lot just on tv. Mostly on Scifi but once in awhile I find something on another channel.

Oooh, I could definitely reach 500 episodes. (And would struggle and struggle for 100 movies!)

I'll be posting my book list at the end of the month. I've never shared any of these lists before and I'm a little afraid to let everyone know about all the various wacky books I read. :)

Exactly my dilemma! TV > Movies!

Yay wacky books! I'm intrigued now. I have Good Reads on my profile, so everyone knows why I read, though my profile thing hasn't updated in a week now. :S

I'm also doing all three, books (50), movies (50) and the 500 episodes which might be the only goal I reach... Good luck! Looking forward to seeing what you'll watch/read :)

Thank you! You know, I like the 50 movies goal, SO much more do-able than 100. I'll add that in. Thanks!

Do audiobooks count as reading a book? Hm.

Another verb may be needed, but a book's a book.

I never really liked audiobooks before you started posting about them. I didn't think I'd have the attention span for them, but I got one and listened to it at parking once, and it was really ... easy? That's probably not the word. It's hard to get distracted from them, which is my usual problem with book-books. Tapes don't stop if you see something shiny. XD

I never had any interest in them until I got an iPod this Christmas, and now I really like them. Moreso when I'm travelling, but if I look for some puzzles or try to listen to them while I do the dishes or something, they're good here too. The most exciting thing is finding a download source that gives me a bunch of books I've been wanting to read at my fingertips, for free. Yay free!

that will be quite a challenge for me given that I don't own a TV!

That's what the internet's for! (No, wait, that's porn.)

Speaking of TV on internet, we got a digital TV tuner that hooks up to a computer. What's crazy: we hook the antenna up to the laptop then run it through the TV and it's clearer than if we just watched with our regular analog bunny ears. Sigh. These people with their new-fangled digital TV, making me have to buy a new tuner or new TV. ;-)
