AAH See that's what I don't like about the series. The Dexter books are gritty and ugly (and yet, totally hot), but they really humanise and soften his character in the show. And even though I'm a hardcore slasher pretty much no matter what, he's totally asexual in the books and I don't like that they made him sexual in the show. :(
Ahhhh, that makes sense now. The oddness of his character would be an interesting thing to explore, but potentially too uncomfortable to watch every week on TV. Maybe it's more suited to book form? Or am I just a whore for wanting to lust after the pretty, even if he plays a psycho? ;) And yes, I really did like the asexual part of the series premiere - which makes total sense if he's a sociopath and has no human feelings. I was interested to see why they developed that to where it was in season two (I thought maybe he just liked the physical release?) but if it's the writer's slipping away from the actual definition of a socio/psychopath, well, that sucks.
It's an LJ client that apparently helps you code LJ entries really easily. It will also let you update a few different journals at once. So I'd look into that if I moved off LJ - update all my journals simultaneously.
