So I had toast this morning. My toaster is a wimp and usually only gets the bread slightly stiff, nothing near what would normally be considered "toast," and then doesn't even let me toast it again. But this morning when I again pushed the button on the toaster, it stayed down. Yay, right ( Read more... )

Loooooong post. LOL

About Harold and Kumar, White Castle is real and those little burgers are the bomb. Especially around 2-3:00am when you've just left the club. I agree with you about the truck driver and the cheetah ride. But Neil Patrick Harris was the best thing in that movie, and Harold doing surgery.

I didn't like the beginning of White Chicks. I'll tell you this. Anytime there is music, the film is funny.

Wow! I'm impressed you read through it! :D Or at least skimmed to the good parts. ;)

Cool! Now I want to try White Castle food (see? Genius piece of marketing). I'm quite certain we don't have any of those in Canada though.

Yes, the Neil Patrick Harris bits were HI-larious. I was going to comment on that but forgot his exact name. O.o

I really really liked the music in Harold and Kumar. I'll pay attention to the music (or the scenes during the music) in White Chicks, thanks. :)

Just read. Aw, that sucks. *hugs* and I hope you get a better sleep tonight. Hopefully the kitties will take their orgy elsewhere tonight!

Good luck staying awake today!

Okay, what I didn't tell you about Napoleon Dynamite the other day because I thought it might distract you: the longest scene was maybe five seconds long. Holy frikkin' hyperactivity disorder, MTV! GOD!

That really bugs me. The movie's sheer randomness only sort of bugged me.

Also, Neil Patrick Harris' real name is Doogie. :)

LOL. That's right, it was made by MTV. I totally didn't notice the shortness of the scenes. Glad of that too, becuase I do think it would have bugged me. :)

I like random. I really do. But when half the scenes are of characters staring incoherently into the distance, jaw dropped open and spittle running down their chin -- and they're NOT smoking up -- well, WTF?!?!

Yes, I should have just called him Doogie. :P I wonder if he really is like that now... Damn lucky former child actors. ;)

"Napoleon Dynamite" made me laugh a few times, but I really just found myself wondering why I was still watching. Then I realized it was to understand all my friends' references, which mainly consist of "Gosh!" or "Man!" or "Get your own tots." I heard that there are "Pedro for President" tees somewhere. Now THAT would be fun!

Yeha - I wondered that a lot too! But I've heard so much about it that I wanted to watch the whole thing in order to understand the cultural phenomenon if nothing else.

"Get your own tots." LOL. Haven't heard that one before. And the way Napoleon was talking (the "Man!" etc.) reminded me of a Mad TV skit I really, really hate. The one with the mother and son where the son has ADHD or something and talks in an amazingly irritating voice ("NO-ooooooo-OOOOO-oooooooo!!!"). I was a bit irritated every time Napoleon talked like that. So, I was irritated a lot.

I loved Seducing Dr. Lewis. For some reason I find films with subtitles hillarious.

Glad you liked it! You must watch a lot of foreign movies then, if you like subtitles.
