*hugs* I remember reading about this and sobbing because you had a special relationship with your gram like I did. My thoughts and prayers are still with you honey and I can only tell you that time will help heal your heart but it will never erase the memories.

Awww, thank you so much. I just re-read my entry for the first time in a year and it's helped - I'm crying but it's helped. I read through the comments and one person posted that a few months after their grandfather's death they could think about him and smile and not be sad -- but I'm still not at that point. Sometimes I can do it, if I don't think too deeply, but mostly it's just ohgodohgod. :(
