01. My housesitting stint ending Saturday morning, so that's why I've been quiet on here for a couple of days. I did my best to catch up on my flist and commented a lot before then, but until I get internet at home again (early September after I move), I can't make any promises about keeping up with LJ. I can check from work each day, but I won't ( Read more... )

Hee! STFU. That's great!

I didn't realize Logan was so loathed. I thought everyone loved him.

As far as Logan in the next season, I figure they'll cook up some way for him to stay in Connecticut.

My impression of the LJ GG communities is that he's loathed. But maybe I just have some vocal Logan-haters on my f-list. It is odd for my character love to be at odds with fandom, but I figure it has to happen some time. I definitely hate Jess, and I do know he's well-loved for some reason.

I'm with you on the Jess hate, though I liked him in his later appearances.

I liked him this past season. I'm fuzzy on his S4 appearances, but I will probably see them in the next few days at the rate I'm going!

WOO HOO! Neopets helping out with real life situations! I love it! :D

I've got to figure out where to get good deals on t.v. show DVDs. I'm starting to think I need to own some, but I don't even know where to start looking. (What? Go into an actual PHYSICAL store??? *gasps in horror*)

Those shirts are awesome!!

Yes! It's nice to know that Neopets can actually *enhance* real-life. We should make a list of all the ways Neopets has affected us for the better! :D

HMV here is awesome, but I don't think you guys have that (or I don't remember seeing it on my trip anyway). Wal-Mart is pretty good here, too. They'll periodically have various DVDs marked down to $30 or so. That's where I recently picked up Dark Angel S2 for $30! I've also heard good things about Best Buy and Circuit City (don't have those here). I like checking out the stores once in a while to check for deals. HMV had a great spring sale with a bunch of DVDs for $20 (I picked up Dead Like Me there), and often has movies for $6-8 near the cash register. I've picked up Batman Begins, Donnie Darko and the X-Files movie for that price in the last few months.

Thank you! I've been wanting the STFU shirt for almost a year now, and I usually buy myself some online things at Christmas. So that may be my main gift to myself. :)

Wal-Mart has cheap flatware ($1 for 6 of each). Or you could go plastic. Or you could eat a meal out, and steal plastic forks and knives and such. :D

Also, I really love this shirt.

I have a few plastic utensils, but they're all dirty. It would be a bit better if I did the dishes. ;) I'm going to Tim Horton's today, so I'll try to pick up some free utensils then!

Nope, no Target here, sadly. I did try to check out the DVDs when I was in Target in the US, but I didn't see any cheap ones. :(
