Sing. There are some who read this journal who are (quite) exempt from this observation (and you know who you are). However, on average I find that my "Men of Song" experience has been...a unique learning environment. Not only about masculinity (what do not do, mainly) but also how not to sing

When I moved up from Advanced Girls Choir to Concert Choir in high school, I was really psyched because I thought I'd be in a whole new league of singers.

I was very wrong, and my delusions of vocal grandeur from my peers were shattered.

Just because it's got a label on it doesn't mean the talent matches.
