I tried watching Jericho since I am such a sucker for post-apocalyptic stuff. It was just so cliche, by the numbers and as subtle as a sledgehammer. I only watched the pilot so maybe it does get better.
I love Heroes. Or at least quite like it. Check out "Hiro", the Japanese guy. He is great. I just got such a kick out of him. PS. Odessa, Texas does NOT look like that. *g*
LOL! You're right about Jericho's subtlety. In episode 2, there's the obligatory person who runs out to save someone else and manages to save them about a microsecond before the it all hits the fan (trying not to be overly explicit with the spoilers here :). Still, I had fun and I'll keep watching. The arc seems like it might be interesting (especially the bit at the end had my friend and I wondering -that bit was well done).
I haven't watched Heroes yet (just taped it off a local Canadian channel, so I'll watch it later tonight) but I'm looking forward to it. I'll keep your warning about the scenery in mind. ;)
