SERIOUSLY. I'm in awe of how smooth and beautifully it all came together. also her narrative voice is simple, fits so well with being creepy. i can't imagine how long it took her, and her other comics are fantastic too.

btw, amazing creepy Halloween!Ita/Shi. :S i was sortof expecting Shisui to be already dead, or they were re-living an echo of Itachi's guilt... but so well done, the creepy tone was spot-on. XDDD

I've been slowly going through her archive and allowing the beauty and brilliance to seep into me, hoping to channel some of that mojo for myself :3

Lololol, that's my tried and true formula for "mindfuck": 1) Protagonist seems strange and disoriented, 2) Love interest acts surreal or is absent, 3) Love interest was DEAD ALL ALONG. Works better when, you know, the love interest is not a character established to be dead.

My personal cracked-out theory? The monster killed his brother when the narrator/protagonist hid, then switched places with his brother. Then the protagonist tries to kill his brother, and it looks like it succeeded, but since it's the monster, it survives... so the thing that comes out of the woods looking like his brother is what's been killing all the livestock.

NO ONE EVEN KNOWS JUKEBOX THE GHOST, LOOK AT US BONDING. <3 <3 <3 <3 how exciiiiting.
