you know, as i signed up for naruto big bang as an artist, i thought all the writers were freaking crazy for volunteering to write 10,000 words. But the itachi/shisui fic i have typed out in the past few days is now about ~5,500 words, and not even done yet. and it wasn't even that difficult... so maybe this is kind of challenge is not so nuts

I sympathize with you on Shisui's stupid hair. It comes out differently in EVERY. PICTURE. I DRAW. I may or may not be using other anime characters as a model at this point orz -_-

I love the angle on that picture, how we're looking down at him and his shadow! *tears up* And the colors are just lovely; it's hard to make the boring Uchiha clothing interesting, but you've done it by making the rest of the scenery pop <3

I don't think your Shisui's hair is a travesty. It looks wild - like it's under water, or it's blowing in the wind. Dynamic in a way that fits for someone known for moving with legendary speed. I also really like the energy you managed to bring to the rest of him with the movements of your lines, it prevents the hair from being overwhelming. How you gave him a gentle, quiet expression and kept that as the mood despite that energy is impressive.

Also, have you ever read "Ascendant" by Samurai 101?

It's a longer fic that focuses on Itachi, and I really loved the relationship he has with Shisui - not romantic, but still well written.
