And the small-ness of the tent means that snuggling is pretty much required. Which is why Bridge is doing exactly that. While trying to ignore the sounds of morning in the outdoors.

It could be worse, Xander supposes, with whatever part of his brain is functioning enough to suppose. They could be in the woods. There could be badgers and squirrels and lions and tigers and bears, oh my. But it's the beach, so mostly it's just the sound of waves and seagulls.

And snuggling. Not that the snuggling is very loud, but what it lacks in volume, it makes up for in intensity.
