I am *this* close to being done with my new tunic. Then, I can focus on John's fighting garb. Liam found some gorgeous trim to go on it, and in exchange, he's getting some gold and red trim, in addition to his Centurion eagle trim, to spiff out the bottom of the cote.

Speaking of that fighting cote...Liam has done a fantastic job with it.

You're welcome, dearest. It's lovely and I'm proud of you. It's not easy for some folx to admit that they need help, but you've been really good about trying new things and ripping out what doesn't work.

Hehe - I also have some pink fabric just begging to be made into a dress (something semi-fitted and like a cotehardie, but not necessarily that). It's just $1/yd cotton that was meant for mock-ups, but I learned from my last mock-up that there's a good chance it will come out well enough to actually wear. I'm trying to figure out what I can make to wear over it so it's not so jarring.
