Well look, still looking for friends, but not going so well. Work's cool, but the people around here aren't exactly full of fun, if ya know what i mean. I need a new crowd, I guess. My friend that I met doesn't live too close, so it's hard to get away with her. I can just dream about what we could do together the next time ... nothing to do but

Hi amo, thanks for checking in. How thoughtful to ask. I'm still looking. I think it takes a while after joining LJ to find out who everyone is. I have actually found a few ladies to chat with, but alas, they all live quite far from me. This is such a huge community, so I know there's got to be a large number of people here in NY. Anyway, the search is a wonderful thing. The harder you look, the more gratifying the discovery.

BTW, I read with interest your posts for today in your journal. What I wouldn't give to have been there to ask.
