It took me... a while... to get into the first episode (I winced and cringed a lot) Don't even ask my opinion on Sookie and Bill, but I adore Eric! I just love him! He makes the whole show worth watching. LOL. I also really like Lafayette, but not like Eric. lol.

It also took me a bit to get into the tone of the show, but by the end of the first season I was definitely hooked! I'm not a Bill and Sookie fan either (though at first I didn't mind them). I'm definitely Team Eric! I also adore Terry Bellefleur and Hoyt Fortenberry, and Pam is rad. I don't know how far along into the show you are, but there are characters that grow on you that you might not expect.

I'm on Season 3, episode 2. I think Jessica and Hoyt are just adorable. Jason is kind of growing on me too, in a dorky, man!Whore kinda way lol. But I agree. I totally love Pam! She's the best!

I'm kind of looking forward to Season 4, but only because I hear Eric is shown a lot more. lol.

I love True Blood, which I think most people know. I adore Eric, I love Sookie, but can't stand Bill. I'm team Viking all the way, lol.

I think I would like Sookie a little more if she wasn't so hung up on Bill. I did not like book!Sookie at all. But show!Sookie isn't so bad. I like her backbone, even though her Bill worship annoys the hell outta me. She's got a sexy, viking vampire drooling over her and she's all Mr. Side-burns! UGH lol

That's interesting. I usually hear it the other way around, that people prefer book!Sookie and that show!Sookie comes off bitchier. I like both, although actually I like the way book!Sookie thinks more about her money concerns and swears less (not that I've got anything against swearing; it's just such a part of her character in the book and I found it endearing). But I only read the first four books.
