Today in lab was spectacular. Most of the day was spent mixing and calculating solutions, which means a lot of work with pipettes and me having to learn a bunch of new equations very quickly [which I totally did by the way]. I felt pretty awesome, knowing I probably looked like a real scientist. I love research. I can't wait to work in the stem ( Read more... )

Oh no, that's seriously fucked up. Cosmetics are stupid in the first place and testing on animals for shit nobody needs in the first place pisses me off.

hey, fuckballs, i am actually in complete support of this, so fuck off. every species has a right to life, and that includes us. if i don't like it, i might as well kill myself, because that would be the only true way out. you have to kill to live. this aspect of life is hell.

well, apologies. you still are stuck on this weird idea of what you assumed my point was at that time, or all those times. every single time i was just trying to get that horrible "human entitlement" out of your head, at most trying to turn it into a "survival entitlement". you were also usually asking if i was happy about the idea of animal testing, which i am not and will never be. i am not all that "happy" about most aspects of my survival. i deal with them because i must sustain myself.

anyways, to try and simplify my point at that time (which we went over, that i thought you understood), i thought you were a monster because you felt that being a specific species made you special.

and if you were not aware that the comment you left her was totally bitchy and asking for it, now you know.

Aw, I'm so sorry about your Japan trip! But it's just a minor delay, you'll be there on your own time soon enough, I'm sure of it :]

Also, I second the "hijack the lab your working at and cure swine flu so you can go to japan." That sounds like the best course of action for right now, haha
