I watched other people do this challenge for 10 years before jumping in. I was actually hoping to touch base with some DW NCIS fans (or even LJ). So far, I've only seen 1 person (out of dozens) other than me who even mentioned NCIS. Many of the fandoms mentioned, I've never even heard of before! I have had a couple of people comment that they've saved some of my links and added them to their reading list. I gather they are familiar with the show and are willing to read stories in the fandom...but I don't think they'd be future participants.
I've gotten one new friend over at DW, so at least I have someone over there to chat with now. She's a nature buff and appears to live out in the country.
