Karolina had woken up in the back room of the jewelry store this morning. That alone would have been awkward enough, even if she hadn't remembered everything that had happened before she'd ended up there. Namely, the... vampy femme fatale stuff. And sleeping with some guy she'd never even seen before

Olive returned to the room after her class with coffee and her hood still up, and found a lump in Karolina's bed that hadn't been there when she'd gotten up. She gingerly wandered over, crouching by the bed. "Please say that's Karolina in there."

Karolina honestly considered not answering. Then she realized that'd be even sillier than she was willing to be. Her reply as still delayed, and muffled by the covers.

"... Yes."

"Do you want the room to yourself?" Olive asked hesitantly. "'Cause I can totally break out my chocolate stash and vacate the premises if it was that bad."

"No, I'm fine." You know, just hiding. Because everything felt embarrassing. "Chocolate?"

She didn't generally even like candy and things like that all that much, but it seemed o fit the day.
