The argument is furious and vicious.  Vile words and accusations fly from his lips before he can stop them and he knows that the pain they cause her hurt him just as much.  He doesn’t mean any of them, not really, but he is so wound up and has so much confusion running though his mind that the words come out of their own bidding.

I second all the above comments... hot, angsty, intense... absolutely.

But I'll add one more comment... great characterisation of Nine in his darker moments. *That* was what made it for me. If you hadn't got that right, it would have just been a generic hot story, but because you did, I could absolutely picture (and hear) the whole thing taking place in front of me.
