It's such a relief to have this finally out there and have this part of the story finished.

I mean - yes. There's a coda. It matters. But the coda is a hinge, a janus looking forwards as much as back, and while I think it belongs to the Arc of Conflict, it's really the beginning of the Arc of Dominion.

The Arc of Conflict is around 130,000 words.

And it's a direct continuation from the end of The Arc of Ascension, which was around 91,500 words.

Together, they tell the story of the rise of the gods, and that is right about a quarter-million-word story being wrapped up.
