who was lakeside engineering?

I guess I lied, there is one more stage monitor speaker post, sort of.

I’m still kind of curious about who “Lakeside Engineering, Seattle, Wash.” might have been. Here’s a scan of the logo, off the better old patch panel, now removed. (The worse one had been partly painted over. I’ve saved both, I might add. No good reason, really, but it’s not ( Read more... )

Well, a quick Google search came up with a Lakeside Engineering based out of Wisconsin. Going by their web site they seem to be a Transportation Dept. contractor involved in emergency road repairs.

Yes, I'm aware of Google, but obviously Seattle is not in Wisconsin (Wash. is Washington State) and this was a local company which is long gone and not to be found so easily.

I'm quite sure it was some little local shop, which it's going to take someone who was here and in music in the late 1960s/early 1970s who just remembers them being around. Which is why I hope people will pass around the post.

I vaguely remember something about them.. Started as Bozotronics on Leary way.. Then moved to a Westlake site?

Google is no help.. The people at Bozotronics did custom synths and helped me with a 76477 developer board.

Woah woah woah Bozotronics was Lakeside Engineering? Seriously? Because I remember Bozotronics. At least by name.

Too Long Ago.. I Think it was some of the people >From< Bozotronics. This from the time I was working for United Products (a south lake union electronic surplus store) Memory is no good.

Maybe there's tax records?
