…and we’re back! Hiya! Back from St. John’s and Torbay and Shediac and Moncton and Joliette and Montreal and Toronto! Working backwards, more or less. There is far too much, and I’m still updating my written old-school journal, but there are things! And I have proof!

I was in The Beaches and it's supposedly one of the five cleanest lake beaches in North America. They've done a lot of work. There were all kinds of fish and stuff.

It was also pretty busy for a weekday morning.

The Beaches (along Lake Ontario) are four of the cleanest beaches in the world. They win global awards, they've been certified by a number of sources, such as Blue Flag (its criteria). Thousands swim in them every day. People also catch and eat fish out of them now. They're quite lovely.

It's surprisingly less cold than I might've expected. At least, in the shallows. I waded up to my knees and it was not bad.
