LOL. Despite being smack dab in the target demographic, I have never read or watched Sailor Moon, but I had heard about the "they're cousins! that's why they're... kissing... and stuff..." cop-out. This story is way funnier though! XD

That's how I heard it. ^_^

Underneath all the lols, of course, is that the American importers really did write out three(!) GBLT characters and turn them into heterosexual characters instead. They rewrote scenes to give Sailor Neptune a past boyfriend, invented new plot elements to make them appear heterosexual, and all that still airs that way in English.

All because "ew, fags."

So I laugh, but what they did is still obscene, underneath it all.
