Scotch? wo de ma. Never expected *you* to be a scotch drinker. What variety? (Name if you can remember, or if you can remember if it's Highland or peaty...) (I'm not exactly a scotch snob, but I do think peat is to fire the still, not flavor the drink.... :)

I don't like scotch! Except this one. Ardbeg 10 year single malt. Smoky like it's currently on fire, but somehow wraps around to that being awesome instead of annoying. (I don't like smoky, most of the time.) Blooms in your head like a good vodka will. Alec brought some to the dead dog, so I tried it. Yum.

Ardbeg! I'm trying to remember if that's the one peaty I like or not... I know that a good biker friend of mine adores the stuff, though. But, yeah, as peaties go, it's very highly regarded.
