Blue eyes blinked at the words, and finally turned to where the voice came from.

"Who are you talking to?"

Balthier nearly jumped as a voice replied from a corner he apparently hadn't looked at. He hadn't realized someone else was already awake. He turned toward the source of the voice.

"Forgive me, I hadn't seen you there." And then nodded toward another few occupants of the cage.

"I thought I had seen a couple of them stir," he glanced at the people in question, who now seemed quite solidly asleep, "but it seems perhaps they have taken my advice."
