[ documents and paperwork was rather slow and long as the asian exorcist is finally allowed to leave the precinct. the city is unsurprisingly quiet as he steps out and walks through the cobblestone streets to the slums--strange, how at first it seemed a mediocre place to live but now he was so used to it that it didn't bother him at all.

he doesn't even halt before the door, despite noticing the fluorescent lighting through the windows. it is no surprise to him when, stepping inside and raising his gaze, he finds the redhead on the stairs, depriving himself of sleep. ]

[ when lavi hears the knob turn on the door, he jumps and his head snaps up. he drops his book on the steps as yuu walks through the doors and he stands, walking to meet yuu on the tiny foyer. he stops a few feet from him, looking sort of like he is restraining himself--probably not best to throw his arms up and give him a big welcome, so he smiles at him instead--but yuu can probably tell just from his mannerisms that he's holding it back ] Welcome back.

[ everyone always make everything a big deal. nodding lightly at the redhead, he walks towards the stairs, ready to make way to his room. he wants to sit there and contemplate his flower and hate himself some ]

[ rolls his eyes as yuu walks past him, smiling a little. he follows the other exorcist, catching him at the foot of the stairs with a hand on his arm ] I know you just got home--but I want to talk to you before Lenalee gets back.
