characters: Frederic Francois Chopin and Princess Zelda location: Church of Solace time: Early evening rating: G to possibly PG open/closed: Closed Note: Continuing from this thread
[ Though the goddess within the church was not one that Zelda revered, simply its presence was enough to comfort the Princess in her times of doubt. She did so hope that her prayers would reach the Goddesses of Hyrule, however near or far they may be. When she heard the doors open, she turned and looked back over her shoulder. Zelda's heart grew heavy as she saw Frederic. ]
Maestro. [ She nodded once to acknowledge him. ] Will you sit beside me?
[Sitting beside her, Frederic could without a doubt see the sadness in her eyes. He starts to feel more guilty about what he said to her over the journals.]
Princess. [A small pause.] About what I told you...
[ Without a word, Zelda lifted her hand and pressed her finger to his lips, bidding him to say no more. After a moment, she withdrew her hand and reached for his. The princess held his hand before her and studied it carefully, tracing one finger across his palm. Several minutes passed in silence like this before she finally spoke. ]
I needed to know that you were real. [ This was the only explanation her actions needed. ]
[Though he's a little confused by her actions, he starts to believe it was because of what he said to her previously. His free hand touches her cheek with a soft touch, his eyes becoming soft with a warm glow.]
Of course I am real, my presence will always be real. [He sounds and almost appears rather sad, but attempts to hide it.]
