Ah, this is just lovely. [ Sarcasm drips off of his tone of voice as he kept messing with his hair and trying to keep his usual regal appearance; it wasn't working well what with the running and the sweating that he did the day before in order to get to this place. He had been stomping around the outside of the groups, not quite ready to go and huddle with them like a frightened mouse. His sisters would be ashamed of him for doing so! He was supposed to be a prince and now that he was somewhere relatively safe he could go back to his princely ways.

Clovis did pause as he noticed a dim light and the lone form by it, he blinked a few times before finally walking over to her. In a meaningful manner which got a little more unsure with each step. ] Princess Zelda?

[ The familiar voice catches Zelda's attention, a turn of the head revealing the not-so-familiar appearance of Prince Clovis. Though they had spoken extensively throughout the three months that Zelda had lived in Solace, the two royals rarely met face to face. Still, she has seen enough of him to recognize the blonde prince. ]

Prince Clovis. [ She stands, nodding her head in greeting to him. She sounds rather relieved to see him. ] Thank the Goddesses, you are safe.

I'm very glad that you are safe as well, Princess Zelda. [ A light bow of his head, because really he wouldn't do a deep bow for anyone, but no one needs to know that. Looked around for a moment for Chopin before hopping to get closer to her when the coast was clear. Like he would admit to being slightly afraid of the musician, if only 'cause he seemed slightly meaner than he was. ] How did you come to get here safely? Ah, what does it matter? You're safe now. And we need only wait until the Black General and the armies of this city saves us.

[ Zelda extended her hand and invited Clovis to sit in the empty chair next to hers. She welcomed his company after the long hours she had spent alone, worrying for the safety of her friends. ]

I pray that you are right. [ She avoided mentioning that the Grey General told her that their armies were elsewhere. ] Though, many in this city are quite able fighters. They so bravely defend this realm, even though it is not our own... [ She seemed a bit wistful at the thought. ]
