Right here, Kanda!

[his words were somewhat muffled but his arms frantically waved a few times in the air to give away his location as he was still being crushed by he tadpoles now on his back, piling on like an annoying piggyback ride that he didn't ask for them to partake in]

Ugh, why are you so heavy?!

[at least he still had the rod that he bought from the euphie-looking woman; he swung it about wildly to get the little monsters off of him, but only ended up striking the ground next to him and not his back]

Kanda!

[ this is sort of pathetic. he follows the sound of clovis' voice, only to find the other in a sad situation. granted that his sword's magical properties don't work against creatures that are not akuma (except for scaring off the pirates), he uses the blunt side of mugen to get the tadpoles off, scrunching one under his boot in the process. ]

Get up.

[and up on his feet, gasping at the dirt and other such grime on his clothes as he dusts them off -- like Euphie, he does have his Geass but only when asked questions will he answer completely honestly without the usual panic that he would speak in this situation; until then, he's himself]

Horrible little creatures. Are these from the pirates as well?

Doubt it. [ kicks one of them away, the creature making a kee sound as it flies and hits a wall. he sweeps his sword, cleaning it just slightly from whatever creature blood on it. he faces the prince, staring at the other dully. ] Start walking. [ insistent tadpoles are insistent, but he continues nevertheless, slicing whichever gets in his way with his sword as he tries to get out of that area. ]

[ And C.C.'s going to take the moment to duck behind a banana stand, finally out of sight of a group of pirates, peeking gold eyes above the desk to scan her surroundings. ]

Now where could soba man be...?

[ he's actually storming through half empty streets, annoyed at the lack of victims to try his beloved sword on while he's looking for the pizza crazy girl. when he notices a group of pirates grunting in confusion like idiots, he smirks. studying the area quickly, he notices crates against one of the houses' walls, falling into the opening where the fruit stands would usually be at in any other situation. with mugen in hand, he tighten his grip and ninjas his way up the crates and onto the roof of the house. he loves seeing scared faces, specially when he signals his presence to the pirates and surprises them. ]

Oi, shitheads!

[ being the smooth guy he is, he jumps down from the roof and onto the pirate. he doesn't go unscathed, but he manages to knock down some of the invaders with surface on his face and limbs. ] Tch. [ and now they are trying to take him one on one, mugen clashing with the lesser swords of the seamen. ]

[ C.C. watches the foray from her post with some vague amount of interest. That sword of his is rather odd... yet unique, and man's own swordsmanship isn't so bad either...

[ Wait. ]

Kanda? [ She makes a move to get up, but when she does, she catches the attention of another pirate, whom makes a move to get at her. She dodges the man's attempts and blocks his sword strike with her own stolen falchion, now preoccupied with her own battle. ]

[ he's distracted momentarily when he hears his name, by an all too familiar voice nonetheless. in his moment of surprise, one of the pirates takes it as an advantage to slash across his chest--managing to steady himself with a less than mortal wound, kanda clocks the unfortunate man in the face with mugen's hilt. ] Tch, so it's you. [ can't say he expected c.c. to be a woman with green hair--or anyone, really. swings his sword sideways before hacking onto the melon fruit stand, breaking the hinges and letting the fruit roll onto the unsuspecting pirates. a whole majority tumbles and falls, but kanda simply straightens up and checks the wound on his chest for any signs of major blood loss--he turns to c.c. ]
