(I understand a lot of people are disappointed/angry/annoyed, which is totally valid, but I'm way more excited about this show now than I have been in a while.)

Heh yeah. Years ago, In The Loop was actually how I got introduced to Malcolm Tucker. I'd never heard of The Thick of It before that.

The actor rings some vague bells with me but I'm sure he'll do a fine job. I've nothing against him at all, but I am still very annoyed at Moffat and some of his comments...

I saw the comment about Helen Mirren & the Queen. He is fucking ridiculous ugh. Were there other comments yesterday?

I've basically decided to ignore Moffat in a kind of "death of the author" way because I love the show and I love Peter Capaldi.

No other comments that I know of, but then I haven't been following interviews etc very closely (or at all).
