Syfy executive Thomas Vitale announced Sharknado 2 on Wednesday (July 17) by saying: "Every once in a while, there is a perfect storm - on television. The fans are clamouring for a sequel. Or perhaps it will be a prequel. [X]

OMG, it's the origin story for before the sharks were in the tornado? Like swimming and hanging out doing shark things?

My goal in life is now to either write or star in a Syfy movie.

Pre-Sharknado: Origins. I would lol forever if Sharknado 2 is just a mundane documentary about normal shark life, then the final scene they get swept up in the sharknado. THE END
