My biggest problem with this whole remake is not that it is a remake but that it is a remake made by Siffi. When it comes down to it, the majority of their shows, mini-series and original movies are mediocre at best, there is no depth and most of the times no soul. Which is exactly what Being Human has lots of... So, honestly, I am expecting the worst. Even the best cast cannot save a show with crappy writers and a crappy show runner.

I would agree that most of their shows/movies are just mediocre (or, um, bad), but they've had a few gems. Farscape had a lot of soul. I think BsG, Caprica, & Eureka were/are good too. I don't know, maybe I just have a weird soft spot for Syfy. Or I don't have very high expectations lol. Either way, I'm strangely excited about this remake. (As long as the original still airs as well!) ...At least it's not Fox?

Sam Witwer is made of awesome (Farpoint!) but I would be shocked if he can salvage the show.
