1. PSA: Tonight is that infamous SGU episode "Sabotage." You know, THAT episode. Just thought I'd mention it in case the non-SGU people on my flist were curious. I have been very happy with the 2nd half of the season, so I'm cautiously optimistic. *crosses fingers for no train wrecks* However, I have no problem hearing critiques/criticisms/meta ( Read more... )

Hope your health has improved!

Do you remember the thing when the casting call was leaked? Here's the only post I could find from then, but it was all over metafandom (possibly fandom_wank as well?). To sum up, a disabled woman (who the casting sheet requested be Calista Flockhart thin) was going to swap bodies with the lesbian character & (probably) have sex with a guy. So, the casting call sheet was pretty skeevy all around.

Oh snap. You know, since I had heard about this AGES ago (not the Calista Flockhart part, but I'm wondering if they mean it as part of her being a quadriplegic and not "because it's pretty") and since I didn't come upon the storyline in my marathon of the episode I thought they scrapped the idea. (Probably due to the fanwank over it.) Guess not! I am intrigued.
