7 Upcoming Fantasy/SciFi TV Shows Currently Being Made:

1. 17th Precinct (NBC) - From BsG's Ron Moore. So far, this awesomeness stars: Eamonn Walker (Love him. He'll always be Oz's Said to me.), Stockard Channing (yay!), and BsG alums Jamie Bamber, James Callis, & Tricia Helfer. So much yay.
The drama is set in the fictional town of Excelsior where magic and supernatural elements rule over science and revolves around the cops at the local 17th Precinct.
Cop show in magic-infused world. This is probably the one I'm looking forward to the most on this list.

2. Grimm (NBC) - from writers-producers Jim Kouf & David Greenwalt (Angel & BtVS)
A dark but fantastical cop drama set in a world where characters from Grimm's Fairy Tales exist
Cop show in fairy tale-infused world, like the Fables comic series. With 17th Precinct, I don't really get why NBC is making 2 shows with such a similar premise, but maybe they're more different than the summaries appear.

3. Powers (FX) may possibly star BsG's Katee Sackhoff (as one of the lead detectives)
Powers follows two homicide detectives as they investigate crimes committed by super-powered criminals.
Cop show in a superhero-infused world. Based on a comic book. Katee Sackhoff & sci-fi = yay!  Sounds like it may be Watchmen-ish?

4. REM (NBC) - stars Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy)
It centers on a cop (Isaacs) who wakes up after an accident to find he is living in two different realities.
Being marketed as Inception-styled. Hopefully that means really cool, surreal visuals.

5. Once Upon a Time (ABC) - Lost producers involved.
The premise has a definite Lost-like element: dual plots unfolding in separate realities, our world and a fairy-tale land. Once Upon a Time centers on a young boy in Storybrooke, Maine, who's convinced everything isn't as it seems. And so (somehow) we're introduced to another world, where evil queens, dwarves and other characters are very real.

6. Alphas (Syfy)
A team of ordinary citizens whose brain anomalies imbue them with extraordinary mental and physical abilities...investigate and/or fight crime.
Syfy channel, therefore probably more campy or light-hearted than the others, but I tend to like Syfy shows. Already set to air this Summer, so more along than the others on this list. It won out against their other similar pilot about superpowers, Three Inches (which had James Marsters)--now being redeveloped.

7. Poe (ABC) - starring Chris Egan (Kings) and Tabrett Bethell (LotS, Cara yay!)
crime procedural following Edgar Allan Poe (Egan), the world's very first detective, as he uses unconventional methods to investigate dark mysteries in 1840s Boston.
Not necessarily fantasy/sci-fi, but I predict some Steampunk-ish gadgets. Maybe some supernatural aspects as well. Probably going the eccentric Sherlock Holmes route, too.

What do you think? Anything on this list that grabs you? Looks like we're heading into a fantasy/scifi bonanza on US tv, which I'm very happy about. Although, lots of "cops in ___ world." Most of these are probably a long way off from airing. Maybe this upcoming fall season for some, but probably next year for most.
