how many of you do mypoints?

do you have multiple accounts? how many?

I do. I actually have two accounts, quite by accident. I never use oen of them, though I want to see if its possible to merge it with my other one because I have a bunch of points in it.

i just opened a third. i have specific email addresses for each. i don't think you can merge, but i know for sure the email addresses must be unique.

let the points roll in!

so, they haven't balked about sending your stuff to the same address?

nope, as a precaution, i do have each account under a slightly different name. i don't think that would really flag anything anyway. there's lots of reasons why multiple accounts could be at the same address, like roommates or family. they probably have other things to worry about. and even if they do find out what are they going to do? cancel my acounts? oh well... less junk mail! :-)

go to http://www.mypoints.com it is a website that will give you points for reading emails, signing up for services, or buying stuff trough the. i don't do the buying-stuff part but its just the normal online places, you just link to it through mp. its like any frequent buyer program, but you don't buy their stuff just stuff through them ( ... )

... and if you're bored, you can make some mp-specific email addys, sign up and then write a little script to automate checking email and "clicking" links. *smirk*

I'm sorely tempted to do it, just for the pure 'f*** YOU' nature of it. :)

I have the MyPoints Visa which I acuired after filling out stupid surveys and clicking on lots of emails and now I just charge, charge, charge. Lots of points that way! Can we say gift cards?!

i've thought about that, but i really like my debit card, i don't have to pay it off (less responsibility). those points you get though... how many gift cards do you think you earn a month?

Good question, I need to check my acct. Way more than I did clicking on web sites though, I can tell you that.

Yup. Three. I opened a third to get the referral credit so I could have enough points to get a gift card before I left for Orlando in March. ;)
