So! This has been buzzing around the flist and it's right up my alley. I've been trying lately to get back into the habit of prompting for Nine, which results in many drabble-y fragments that exist only as private entries and will probably never ever be finished, and not a whole lot else

It was basically us joking around all, "I bet the Doctor doesn't resolve predestination paradoxes so he knows he will live longer." And then we wondered if Nine went around solving his, then - there's an audio that implies he knew about something since his fifth and didn't bother doing it until his ninth - but then! We wondered if early!Nine, with his wonderfully bleak outlook, didn't just sit around quickly trying to resolve as many that he knew of.
Then we thought, "But the Doctor knew one day he'd become Merlin."
This was a long beginning to: Write Nine trying to figure out how to wrap up that pesky Merlin paradox.
