I see where you're going with this. See bearfuz's reply. It's that Ab that was bugging me. You have G#. Same thing. We're all in the same place.

Is the Ab chord what you were missing? (Technically, I suppose, Abmaj7)

Thank you! I think I worked on it too long yesterday. I have the almost the same thing you do except the first chord. I've got E min with a C in the bass. I'm gonna try that Ab again today. Big kiss!

Ah, the Em/C is actually the same as a "Cmaj7" ... which is a C chord with a B added. I didn't include the B in the chord I suggested, probably because that B is in the vocal melody. But (on further listening), I also hear it in the guitar. And though I'm not a guitarist, I know that the chord is easy to do with the G, B, and E strings open.
